An alternative to walking the mountains is to contact the local stables and let their horses do most of the hard work, guided tours for riders of all abilities can be arranged.
For visitors looking for less energetic activities why not take a day trip around the Isle of Skye with its range of attractions; look for seals on a boat trip from Plockton or spend a leisurely morning/afternoon at the Eilean Donan Castle
