Located at the head of Loch Duich, Grianan House is an ideal base for walking in the hills around Kintail, Skye and Lockalsh.  With the peak of Sgur nan Saighead of the five sisters within view of the house and the start of the Glomack Falls trek just two minutes away.

Should walking weather be less than ideal, we provide facilities to store and dry wet outer clothing.

An alternative to walking the mountains is to contact the local stables and let their horses do most of the hard work, guided tours for riders of all abilities can be arranged.

For visitors looking for less energetic activities why not take a day trip around the Isle of Skye with its range of attractions; look for seals on a boat trip from Plockton or spend a leisurely morning/afternoon at the Eilean Donan Castle.
